Your responsibilities

As part of our international team you will:

  • Participate in the software design process
  • Develop solutions in an object-oriented environment
  • Support the implementation and maintenance activitie

Our requirements

  • Practical experience and knowledge of JavaFX 8 (mandatory)
  • Good knowledge of UX development, ORMLite on H2 DB
  • Good to have knowledge of Maven, FXML, Axis2, WSDL4J, FreeMaker, VirtualBox, IntelliJ IDEA
  • Basic skills in design of algorithms and assessing their complexity
  • Readiness to learn domain knowledge (power engineering and gas industry)
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL knowledge to interogate Oracle DB
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Excellent communication and team work
  • Personal responsibility for assigned tasks

Recruitment process step-by-step

01. Meet with a manager

First, you will meet with the manager of the department you’re applying to, in-person or online. You will learn more about what we do and the role you’re applying for.

02. Recruitment task

After or during the meeting we will ask you to complete a short recruitment task so that we can see you in action. This will also give you an idea of what your tasks would look like.

03. Next meeting

After you submit the task, we will contact you with feedback and inform you whether we decided to invite you for another meeting. During the second meeting, you will learn more about working at Globema and we will get to know you even better.

04. Decision

If all goes well, we will make a job offer. We hope you will accept so we will have the chance to work together 🙂
